Thanks for your thoughts Bill. I am not sure I am from a lucky country, I do think being from the UK has given me some very very exciting options. I am just waiting to get out and explore them now!! Totally agree with what you said about travel, its about seeing other cultures and meeting people. 'Its just like home' sounds all to familiar to me. Cheers.

I enjoyed your comments. I have traveled as a hobby and for mind expansion for many a year. I,m so glad I did. The memories I have are not as good as the live experience but way better than watching a travel video. I,m happy I did it on the cheap. I have friends who claim to have traveled so I ask them how they got there. How they moved over land and most importantly where they stayed. When they say oh "The Marriott or the Sheraton... the food was great just like home". At that point I tune out. If one doesnt get close to the people one may as well watch that travel video.Sorry to ramble on but I realised a long while ago that the biggest reason must be (albeit a selfish one) is because we only have a very short time on earth. Why not take on as much experience as possible? We were lucky to exist and we will go for worm food like so many before us. This isnt meant to be morbid but the opposite is true. Be sure to live every second. Travel is a joy. Whatever it takes keep on traveling. By the way you got particulaly lucky being born in "The lucky country" Its about the best all things considered. Cheers, b
