After two 10 hour flights we touched down in rio. The first thing that hot us was the heat… Wow it’s hot. Luiz the bloke from the hostel organised us a lift from the airport with his mate will. Driving, or should I say being a passenger was interesting. I think the general rule is that if it’s not your right of wayuse your horn and that makes it yours… We got to the hostel and had a little look round, basic but ok and the people in particular luiz are very friendly.

We are staying in a fevela called leme which is at one end of copacobana so in a great location. The main reason we are here is because of te price, as you can imagine before we arrives and in the weeks leading up to our trip I was a little apprehensive about stayin in a Hello Rio
