Welsh Countryside, A random find
The welsh countryside has surprised me once more. Llangoed Common just above the hotel by the name of Llangoed Hall stands out as one of the most beautiful places I have stumbled across here in mid Wales.
Builth Wells, Powys, Mid Wales
I had just been down to Newport in south wales searching for a car which was a disaster (you would not belive how hard it is to find a tidy little runner for around £1000) and on the way back came up against a road block due to an accident. This meant we had to go on a little detour so out came the sat nav and we found a very narrow welsh country lane which lead back to the road that we wanted to be on. I have driven the road hundreds of times and never imagined that Llangoed common could even exist. Any ways it does and its beautiful, their are a couple of little walks, not sure how far they are but planning to go exploring. If you are passing it would be well worth a little detour of your own. If you fancy taking a walk or just driving through this lovely area just 10 minutes from Builth Wells then take a look at this map to find out exactly where it is.
